Efficiency for Access Design Challenge 2024-2025: Dami Joins Judging Panel!

I’ve been invited to serve as a judge for the 2024 – 2025 Efficiency for Access Design Challenge, organised by Energy Saving Trust, co-secretariat of Efficiency for Access and Engineers Without Borders UK!

I’ll harness my experience in the off-grid sector to evaluate student-led innovations that aim to improve energy access in underserved communities.

I love the Efficiency for Access Design Challenge. It connects aspiring energy and climate professionals with experienced industry professionals such as myself and provides guidance and space for students to explore their creativity. If you remember correctly, I was a mentor for a student team from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, at last year’s (2023 - 2024) edition of this competition, the team that eventually won Gold in that edition. This year, I’m on the judging panel instead! And I’m so excited to listen to various pitches by the different student teams.
