Supporting the Next Generation: Our Experience at the 2025 3x3 U-16 Basketball Tournament
On 8th November 2025, We had the privilege of once again supporting the incredible young talents who came together for this year’s 3x3 Under-16 Basketball Tournament, hosted at Avi-Cenna International School, Ikeja.
Last year, we sponsored the Island edition of this tournament. This year, it was the Mainland’s turn, and We’re proud that the Damilare Aluko Foundation could step in again to back these rising stars. Investing in young athletes isn’t just something we do; it’s something we truly believe in. These kids deserve every opportunity to dream bigger, play harder, and see what’s possible when the right support meets the right talent.
This initiative continues to grow stronger because of the leadership and vision of Onaopepo Adu, the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Sports Marketing & Administration. His commitment to grassroots sports is the engine behind moments like this, moments that shape the future of Nigerian basketball.
Tournament Highlights
The competition was fierce, but the energy was beautiful.
Male Category: Ilupeju Senior Grammar School won!
Female Category: Topfield College took the crown with a standout performance. Those girls didn’t just play, they dominated.
Watching these young hoopers give everything they had reminded us why this work matters. Their confidence, discipline, and passion are exactly what inspire me to keep creating spaces where young people can thrive.
